Rostam Batmanglij, resident keyboardist and producer, tells Stereogum, that this sort of freaky content build-up will have a common occurrence. “We’re going to be releasing some weird content,” he says. “I don’t want to let the cat out of the bag but … we want to fuck with people a little bit. It’s more fun to fuck with people before your records come out than after.”
